Window Card for Newton's Nook

Create a Window Scene on a Card by Jess Moyer with Newton's Nook Naughty Newton

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a card and video for Newton's Nook. I create a little window scene by using the Newton who is scratching to be a Newton who is pawing at the window to get a little birdie. I know my cats used to love sitting and watching the birds. Check out my video for more on how I made this card.

Tips from this card/video:
Consider how you can reframe your stamps to get more use out of them.
Ink is a great way to make your own colored cardstock when you don't have the color you need.

Cocoa Gift Wrapper featuring My Style Stamps

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a decorative sleeve for a packet of cocoa featuring My Style Stamps. I used the small hearts from the set to create my own patterns. For more on how I created this check out the video below.

Tips from the card/video:
Be sure to clean stamps between impressions.
Multi Medium Matte is a great adhesive for sequins because if you decide to remove one there will be no residue.

One Layer Card featuring Newton's Nook Designs

Stenciled Sun Ray Card using Newton's Nook Bunny Hop Stamps and My Favorite Things Sun Ray stencil

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a card for the latest Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws challenge. The challenge is a one layer card and this one was tricky for me. I tend to work on a panel for my inking and coloring and then attach it to my card. To see more on how I created this card, check out the video below.

Tips from this card/video:
Use a heat gun to make sure ink is dry between applications
Colored pencils are great for one layer cards because they won't bleed through like alcohol markers
Extend a sun ray stencil by using post it notes as masks
